SCIRA Finland wishes all welcome to a pizza party to celebrate our Mr. Snipe Finland, Claus Clapa Carpelan's 70-Years-Snipe-Sailing-career! He started his Snipe sailing already 1955 and is still going strong by being a constant participant in our regattas!

Regatta will be sailed early August 8-10.8 in Kotka, located ca. 130 km east from Helsinki (Helsingfors). Easy access by motorway.

TRAVELLING BY FERRY
The schedule has been planned so, that you are able to arrive by ferry to Helsinki or even to Turku (Åbo) by early Friday morning and still manage to get into the first two races on Friday.
This applies also to return on Sunday evening from Helsinki. Good quality motorway to Kotka available since you are out from the city.

Instead of travelling always to south, why not to choose this time one Nordic country. You will be surprised how nice the ferry trip through the archipelago is when arriving from Sweden. We know the challenges to travel to Finland oversees but please take this opportunity to explore the south-east part of the country.
