Board of Governors Selects Venues for 2027 and 2028 Major Events Image
Following the review of all submitted bids, the SCIRA Board of Governors has cast its votes to assign the host venues for three major upcoming World Championships for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Italy has been awarded the organization of all three world events:

2027 Women’s World Championship: Trieste, Italy (Triestina della Vela) — July 6–11, 2027
2027 Master World Championship: Trieste, Italy (Triestina della Vela) — July 13–18, 2027
2028 World Championship: Monfalcone, Italy (Yacht Cub Monfalcone) — September 1–16, 2028
